One of the biggest changes I’ve made in my journey towards minimalism is in my closet (& my makeup drawer, but that’s a different blog post). I used to stand in front of a closet full of cheap clothes that I didn’t even really like, that didn’t fit me anyway and just be…somehow underwhelmed and overwhelmed. So overtime I began investing in quality, simple pieces that I could use to put together timeless outfits that feel like me. Thus the capsule wardrobe was built.
I mostly shop at places like Madewell, Everlane, Gap, & J. Crew Factory. I know those names can sound…pricey, but remember that the intention is investing in outfits that will span seasons. Another thing to remember is that I live in southern Louisiana, so while this is my fall / winter capsule, it may feel like your spring ?
